Historically, Copenhagen’s location made an excellent base for Vikings when they were not out exploring the world on their iconic longboats. What captivated us was the Viking navigation methods following flocks of migrating birds as well as using crystals to locate the sun on cloudy days. Denmark’s historical Viking heritage finds a modern home.
